MAJR Resources Marks Two Decades of Land Services
From a Permian Basin practice in 2005 to a full-sector, multi-state firm.
A Short History
MAJR Resources began serving the oil and gas industry in 2005 and formally incorporated in 2011. Twenty years later the firm operates across the Permian Basin and 10+ states and serves oil and gas, solar, wind, geothermal, battery storage, and data-center development.
What Two Decades Has Taught Us
Industry cycles are real. Multiple downturns have shaped the way MAJR staffs projects — leaner, more disciplined, more local — and how we price them. We compete on cost, but we win on accuracy: the work has to survive the next diligence review, not just close the current one.
Where We Are Headed
Renewable energy and data-center land work now sits alongside oil and gas in the firm's portfolio. The land skills transfer; the standards do not change. We expect the next decade to look a lot like the last: local landmen, national reach, professional standards, competitive rates.
